Glen and Becky Taylor are dedicated philanthropists, business leaders, and community advocates whose commitment to serving others has shaped their charitable work for decades. Together, they have invested in initiatives that strengthen communities, expand educational opportunities, and enrich the quality of life for individuals and families.

Glen Taylor, founder and Chairman of Taylor Corporation, is an entrepreneur and business executive known for building successful organizations while maintaining a strong belief in giving back. Throughout his career, he has championed community development, workforce advancement, and educational excellence, recognizing that long-term success is created through opportunity and service.

Becky Taylor is a nurse by trade and shares a deep passion for helping others and has been actively involved in numerous charitable and civic organizations. Her dedication to supporting youth, families, healthcare programs, and community well-being has helped create meaningful and lasting impact across the region.

Together, Glen and Becky have established a legacy rooted in generosity, stewardship, and a commitment to making a positive difference. Through their philanthropic efforts, they seek to empower individuals, strengthen communities, and create opportunities that improve lives for generations to come.

Their foundation reflects their shared values of integrity, compassion, innovation, and service—supporting organizations and programs that address critical needs, foster growth, and inspire a brighter future. As lifelong believers in the power of community, Glen and Becky remain committed to creating meaningful change and helping others reach their full potential.

Megan is a Software Solution Consultant at a Virginia-based consulting firm. She is committed to building community for future generations and creating meaningful opportunities for young people to grow and thrive. She lives in North Mankato with her husband of 15 years, Michael, and their three daughters. Outside of work, you can find Megan in the bleachers cheering on her daughters at soccer and hockey games and investing in the communities that shape their futures.  

David Krause serves as Chief Executive Officer of Pioneer Bank, bringing more than four decades of community banking experience. He began his banking career in 1984 and joined Pioneer Bank in 1986. With deep expertise in residential mortgage, business, and agricultural lending, David has played a key role in guiding the bank’s long-term success and growth.

Under his leadership, Pioneer Bank has completed five mergers and acquisitions, opened two de novo branches, and achieved significant organic growth since 1994—evolving into a $900 million community bank with seven locations across south-central Minnesota.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Southwest Minnesota State University and has completed the Minnesota Bankers Association Commercial Lending School and Midwest Banking Institute.

A committed community and industry leader, David has served as Chair of several regional organizations, including Greater Mankato Growth, GreenSeam, the St. James Area Chamber of Commerce, and the St. James Economic Development Authority. He has also served as Chair of the Minnesota Bankers Association and remains actively involved through the MBA Government Relations Council and the American Bankers Association Community Bankers Council.

In addition to his professional leadership, David is deeply engaged in the community. He serves on the Taylor Foundation Board of Directors, Greater Mankato Area United Way Board, the Transforming Tomorrow Together Steering Committee, and The Future State Business and Community Founders Campaign Executive Committee. He also serves on the Finance and Stewardship Committee at his church.

Nancy Zallek is the president and chief executive officer of Mankato Area Foundation (MAF) and an advocate for our local nonprofits. Nancy dedicates herself to building a community of individuals who believe in the strength of giving while supporting the work of the nonprofit sector.

Since joining MAF in 2009, Nancy has grown the foundation’s assets from $2M to over $34M and annual granting from $50,000 to over $4.1M. Such growth has led to large-scale community initiatives, such as The Children’s Museum of Southern MN, Kiwanis Holiday Lights and the Fallenstein Field and Playground, as well as increased scholarship opportunities for local students. Nancy also led the strategy to create and design the Shared Spaces nonprofit center, a collaborative workspace for regional organizations and their leadership teams.

What Nancy values most of all, however, is the relationships she builds with people in our community. As she puts it, “Every day I get to connect thoughtful donors with incredible organizations and causes – it doesn’t get better than that.”

The fifth generation of her family to grow up in Mankato, Nancy graduated from Mankato West High School and Gustavus Adolphus College. After graduation, she joined Brett’s Department Stores – eventually serving as Vice President. She transitioned into the nonprofit sector as executive director of Mankato Ballet Company, and executive director of the United Way of St. Peter – prior to joining MAF.

Nancy is proud to have volunteered for wonderful organizations such as the Mankato Clinic Foundation, Taylor Foundation, Greater Mankato Growth, Gustavus Adolphus College, First Presbyterian Church, Twin Rivers Council for the Arts, the Mankato Ballet Company, and the St. Peter School District.

She is married to her husband Mark and has three awesome kids (though she may be a bit biased): Taylor (wife Annika), Bailey (husband Nick), and Brett (wife Hannah), and granddaughter Brett.

Rob Nelson is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of NorthRock Partners. With more than 30 years of industry and executive leadership experience, he provides the vision and strategic direction behind the firm's continued growth and evolution. Rob has built a reputation for creating an innovative, client-centered business model that integrates traditional wealth management with a broad range of personal and lifestyle services.

Under his leadership, NorthRock delivers its signature Personal Office® experience to a diverse clientele that includes entrepreneurs, business owners, athletes, Fortune 500 executives, and multigenerational families across the globe.

Rob earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Bemidji State University in 1993. He serves on the boards of Foundation X, Ashby Legacy Fund, Arrow Giving Foundation, and The Constellation Fund, reflecting his passion for strengthening communities, empowering individuals, and supporting organizations that help people thrive.

Rob and his wife, Lucinda, live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They enjoy traveling with their son, Brady, and daughter-in-law, Tracy, and spending time with family and friends.

Terri is a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with focuses in Management and Marketing, and a minor in Economics. She has built her career at Taylor Corporation, holding a variety of roles that have contributed to her broad organizational perspective and leadership experience. In her current role, Terri works within the corporate Human Resources team, where she leads and supports key HR projects and strategic initiatives across the organization.

Terri has served on numerous nonprofit boards and committees and is proud to have been an active member and officer of The Taylor Foundation Board of Directors since 2020. She is deeply passionate about making a positive impact in the Mankato community.

Terri and her husband, Bob, reside in North Mankato. They enjoy traveling, cycling, and most of all, spending time with their two adult children and their families. Their grandchildren are the highlight of their lives.
